Wow...I've gotten behind...

Wow...I have been really bad at staying caught up!  So lets catch up on life with our little Josie!  She is quite the spitfire but we love her sassy little attitude!  She is growing like a weed, weighed in at 14 pounds 3 ounces at the vet last week!

Josie and I all geared up to go out into the winter cold!  This week in Minnesota that temps were -15 to -20 degrees for a high and the wind chills were significantly colder than that!  Schools were cancelled many days due to the cold, something they never did when I was a kid!  Josie was not thrilled about going out in the cold and neither were we but hey nature calls right?!?!

Josie had her first haircut!

This is one of Josie's favorite toys!  Its a little monkey floor pillow that my niece, Avery gave to her!  She spends lots of time chewing on the nose, dragging it around and dancing with it!

So sweet and innocent when shes asleep!

Josie is officially potty trained!  Hallelujah!  She is loving that we allow her on the carpet now!!  We bell trained her after some struggles with trying to train her the old fashioned way so now she just rings a little jingle bell that hangs from our front door when she needs to go outside, its great!!

Another favorite toy is any kind of ball!  She loves them so much that she even slept with one as a pillow!  Silly girl!

Josie also started obedience school!  She goes to a place called Cloud Nine in Hopkins and we just love it!  She has learned so many things!  She can sit, lay down, stand, stay, wait, heel along with many other things! She passed the first level of obedience school and started level two a couple weeks ago!

Josie thinks she is queen of one of our couches!  So funny!

This picture is one of my favorites!  She has become obsessed...I mean like OCD obsessed with her travel crate!  If it isn't in our living room she will scratch at the doors in our house looking for it!  So its become a permanent fixture in the living room!  Sometimes we will be playing and then she will run upstairs and won't come back...so after some time we go looking for her and usually shes just resting in her travel crate.  My favorite thing is when she goes in there when we are trying to take her outside before we leave to go do something and she won't come out...she backs herself into it and stares at us and won't come out!  Its very inconvenient!  We haven't figured out if she goes in there thinking we will take her with or if shes trying to hide from us to avoid going outside!

As you can see our lives revolve around Josie our fun, loving pup and we are more than ok with that!
